In February, Governor Whitmer signed House Bill 4141 and Senate Bill 495. Collectively, this amends the Revised School Code, specifically MCL 380.1303a, to require a school district’s board of education to adopt protocols prohibiting students from using a wireless communications device during instructional time effective for the 2026-27 school year.

Join us for a spooky and fun-filled evening at the Garden City Community Coalition's Trunk or Treat event! This family-friendly Halloween celebration is the perfect opportunity for children to trick-or-treat safely from trunk to trunk, gathering candy and treats from local businesses and community groups.

🎃 Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, October 22nd, 2026

• Time: Trunk or Treat begins at 5:30 PM. The line will close at 7:00 PM

• Location: Radcliff Community Center (1751 Radcliff St. Garden City, MI 48135)

👻 Ticket Information:

• QR Codes will be provided on your ticket, this must be brought to the event.

• Tickets will be capped at 1,000 children, so be sure to get yours early!

• Participating trunks will be providing treats for all children, ensuring a memorable Halloween experience for everyone.

• All sales are final, no refunds.
