Our students receive instruction based on a challenging and diverse curriculum which is designed to prepare students for competition in a global economy.
Our instructional goals are as follows:
- Students will incorporate higher level thinking skills in problem solving, using appropriate strategies.
- Students will increase reading comprehension skills.
- Students will use process writing.
The administration and staff at Henry Ruff encourages and supports parent involvement. Opportunities for parent involvement include: room parent, computer parenting, reading parent, PTA volunteer, library aide, Parent Publishing Company for Young Authors, field trip volunteers, school improvement team and tutoring parent.
