Garden City Public Schools Band Instrument Donation Program

instrument image
The goal of Garden City Public Schools and our Band program is to ensure that any student who wishes to participate in band is able to. Your donated instrument will be lent to a student whose family cannot afford to rent or purchase an instrument. We are currently accepting any and all band instruments including electric bass, drum set, electric piano and amplifiers. Stringed instruments will also be accepted.

Thank you for donating a musical instrument to Garden City Public Schools. Your donation will positively impact many individual students over many years. The Garden City Public Schools is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code; therefore your donation may be tax-deductible.

Donations can be dropped off at Garden City High School, during normal business hours, between 8:00 and 3:30, Monday through Friday. You will receive an official donation acknowledgement letter from Garden City Public Schools that will specify the type and manufacturer of the donated instrument or cash donation. This letter will not identify a dollar value of your donated instrument. For an estimated value of your donation for tax purposes, please consult a music store or appraiser before making your donation.
