An Alternative Approach to High School Completion

The Alternative Education program at Cambridge Center provides students with an opportunity to earn their high school diploma. if you have had previous difficulties in school, our experienced staff can provide the needed assistance to achieve your educational goals.

Program Specifics

  • Earn a "Garden City High School" diploma
  • Able to earn eight (8) credits a year.
  • Apply credits earned at former schools.
  • Traditional school calendar (September - June).
  • Monday-Thursday classes: 7:45 am - 2:33 pm
  • Secondary certified teachers.
  • Smaller school setting - approximately 300 students in grades 9-12.

ELECTIVES 6.5 CREDITS

All students must complete a minimum of two credits to qualify for graduation through the Cambridge Center. A student with no more than one credit deficiency may participate in the Commencement Ceremony provided that he/she has enrolled in a public summer school program to earn deficient credits. Such a student will receive a diploma upon successful completion of the summer program.
