Honors Advanced Placement

Dear Parents and Students,

We are pleased to offer our students the opportunity to take part in an Honors Accelerated Program (HAP) again next year. This program is available to students in grades 1-6. At this time, we have one classroom per grade level. Students accepted into this program are highly motivated, uniquely creative, excel academically (especially in the areas of math and English Language Arts) and have a strong sense of leadership.

The instruction in this classroom will move at a quicker pace, include projects, wil have more independent expectations and may have more work expected to be completed at home. In order for your child to be considered you must complete a parent information form and you must request your child’s teacher to complete a teacher recommendation form as well. The parent application form is due to Central Office to the superintendent on or before May 24, 2014.
