Return to School Call Center

Attention Parents of Garden City Schools, 

The board of education has voted to support 100% virtual learning for the start of the 2020/2021 school year in support of the health and safety of our students and staff communities. All students will be receiving virtual instruction on personal or district-provided devices until a window for a safe return is available. 

In the event that the district is able to return to in-person instruction, we would like to know your preference for future planning. If a return to school becomes available during the first semester of school, September - January, would you choose your student return to in-person instruction where strict social distancing is not always feasible, but full PPE, masks, enhanced hygiene practices and cleaning regiments are in place, or choose to retain your student in virtual instruction through the first semester? 

Parents, please call this number to notify us of your choice so that we may plan to honor it if we are able to return to in-person instruction before the end of the first semester. Staff are ready to receive your call between the hours of 8:30 am and 4pm, August 12 and 13 at 734-762-6300. The call center hours may be extended based on need.
