Mission Statement
The mission of Garden City High School is to provide a variety of educational opportunities that encourage all students to become life-long learners and productive members of society.

 

Schedule pick up:

Sept 1st, 8:30-12:30, 12th & 9th grade

Sept 2nd, 8:30-12:30, 11th & 10th grade

Sept 1, Freshman and new student walk through 7-8pm

Sept 9, 1st day of school, full day.

 

Open House, Wednesday, September 15, 6:15

 

Ticket prices for the Football games:

11 & under free when accompanied by an adult

Middle School & High School Students w/ID  $4.00

Student without ID  $5.00

Adults $5.00

Senior citizens $2.00

Military personnel with ID are free

 

School Dress: GCHS students must dress in accordance with the Board of Education Code of Conduct and adhere to the following GCHS guideline: Click here for full Policy

New this year:  flip-flop type footwear will not be permitted.

• No midriffs, backs, chests, or cleavage may be exposed. A shirt must overlap the pants. Transparent clothing is only appropriate when worn over attire that would be considered appropriate alone. An outfit may not reveal the chest and/or sides of your body through the splitting or cutting of a hole in its side.
• Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be at least as long as the distance from the waist to the fingertips with the student’s arms at his or her side. Exceptions may arise in cases of students with unusual proportions.
• Sunglasses are not to be worn inside the building.

Attention Parents - please remember to call (734-762-8370) the attendance office to excuse your child. Unexcused absences will result in students not being able to make up their missed assignments as well as discipline action.
